Mission

The educational programs of the New Egypt Schools shall foster high expectations, in both academics and behavior, giving attention to all students' individual needs.  Children will be provided a variety of activities and experiences that allow them to mature into lifelong learners, who are critical thinkers, and who cooperate with others as they grow and learn in our democratic society.  It is the mission of the department of curriculum and instruction to support the district's educational programs by consistently striving to achieve and surpass our goals:

1. Improve instruction by providing quality Job-Embedded Professional Development to teachers and staff

2. Provide the resources, support, expertise for staff to develop and maintain a high quality curriculum that meets the needs of all students
    
3. Foster positive relationships with and among professional staff
    
4. Provide the leadership necessary to develop, strengthen, and enrich instruction
    
5. Use technology to increase communication throughout the school community
